Horne Audio, Inc.

In November of 1999, Horne Audio, Inc. was founded by current President J. Peter Horne. Beginning with the company's first event, the millenium celebration in Portland's Pioneer Square for an audience of 20,000, Horne Audio has since been proudly providing world-class audio services and equipment.

Started with two employees, Bill Gardner and Dave Caldwell, Horne Audio has strived to maintain the best support staff and audio engineer's. The addition of Don Lindsey in 2001 brought the company's full time staff to five. While Mr. Gardner has recently moved on to another career, the company still maintains five fulltime employees, with another half dozen part time staff. Balancing the company's work load, while controling costs is a major undertaking, however, Horne Audio is dedicated to provide the best possible service at the best price.

While the company warehouse has continually grown over the years (to nearly 6,000sf currently), 2003 found the need for serious expansion as Horne Audio, adhering to it's philosophy of maintaining the most up-to-date inventory, was one of the leaders in the Pacific Northwest in purchasing a line array system. Staying on the cutting edge has helped Horne Audio provide the best possible solution for their clientele.

2007 brought many changes to the company inventory. Digital console's from Yamaha and Digidesign highlighted the many additions. Staying on the cutting edge of technology is a major undetaking. Horne Audio is has been committed to providing the latest technologies in an effort to improve service and performance. 2008 saw a major change when the decision was made to revamp it's amplifier line to the new Lab Gruppen PLM series of amplifiers.

After nearly a decade of providing world class audio to the Pacific Northwest and beyond, Horne Audio is looking forward to the next decade with a commitment to excellence and professionalism.
